球墨鑄鐵的製造方法,簡單地說來,是:——(1)用一种球化劑(Nodulizer),其性質能使炭化物穩定;加在適當成份和溫度的铁液內,使其一部份炭素成為球狀。(2)再加入墨化劑(Graphitizer),使其餘部份炭素成球狀。
