资本问题是英国工业革命时期的一个重要问题,可以从不同的角度来进行研究。本文讨论的是英国工业革命前期的资本配置。作者认为,当时工业部门吸收社会资金存在一系列障碍,因此工业部门合理使用有限的资本成为英国经济“起飞”的关键,进而指出增加投资并不是唯一重要的因素。
The issue of capital is an important issue during the industrial revolution in the UK. It can be studied from different perspectives. This article discusses the capital allocation of the early industrial revolution in the UK. The author believes that there was a series of obstacles in the absorption of social funds by the industrial sector at that time. Therefore, the rational use of limited capital by the industrial sector became the key to the “take off” of the British economy, and pointed out that increasing investment was not the only important factor.
