One afternoon two months ago, Liu Mu, the owner of Xinwang Wood and the factory, rushed to me for tea. For those who do not understand life style, take the initiative to propose that drinking tea is “other plans.” Liu Mu, whose real name is Liu Mulin, is my friend for many years. In the footwear industry, he is a businessman specializing in the manufacture of heels. Sure enough, when Liu met with him, he couldn’t wait to ask me to “catch fire”: He took orders from several large shoe-making companies in one breath, and his production capacity suddenly became tight. At the same time, it was almost impossible to accomplish these tasks. “I can now use less than RMB 2 million in cash, which is only enough for these batches of orders for materials and to maintain normal production. To increase production capacity involves expanding the plant and increasing equipment. There is no RMB 5 million!” Liu Mu followed with a look. Frustration: “The key issue is that banks are now shrinking their production of operational loans. My loan request will not be expected this year. However, after the Spring Festival, I will start supplying them!”
