In multimode fiber, the group delay difference between the transmission modes is the main reason causing the optical fiber transmission bandwidth to drop. Therefore, measures are taken to make the delay times at which the transmission modes reach the optical fiber terminal are equal, which is an important means to increase the transmission bandwidth of the multimode optical fiber. One of the measures is to reasonably choose and control the total refractive index of the optical fiber. Therefore, it is very important to observe the corresponding relationship between the refractive index and the bandwidth.
