Management of esophageal cancer is based on ahalysis of the functional capacitv as well as clinical staging.The analysis of functional capacity of the individual patient is based on examinations of cardiovascular，pulmonarv,hepatic,renal and metabolic function as well as assessment of personal compliance.The results ofthe different tests can be quantified by grades and summarized in a score differentiating normal,medium of high risk[1,2].
