从五四运动第一次明确提出“油画民族化”这一命题,至今已有近百年历史。中国油画逐渐将外来的艺术形式注入了“中国化”元素,融入到民族的血脉当中。以杨飞云为代表的中国古典主义写实画家,通过对东方女子神韵的表达、人物造型意境美的营造、红色中的东方意蕴的构筑,把东方精神的内涵注入其中,也是油画“中国化”探索的代表。
