陶寺遗址位于山西省襄汾县城东北约7.5公里的崇山(今称塔儿山)西麓,面积达数百万平方米,经1978—1985年的发掘,获得一系列重要考古资料。该遗址主要有中原龙山文化陶寺类型的遗存,部分地带有庙底沟二期文化的遗存。据~(14)C测定,陶寺遗址庙底沟二期文化遗存的年代约当公元前2800年前后;龙山文化陶寺类型遗存的年代约为公元前2500—1900
Tao Temple site is located in Xiangfen County, Shanxi Province, about 7.5 kilometers northeast of the Chongshan (now called Tashan) western foot, an area of several million square meters, excavations from 1978 to 1985, access to a series of important archaeological data. The site is mainly of the Central Plains Longshan culture Taosi remains, in part with the Miaodi ditch culture remains.
