珠三坳陷为第三纪发育起来的断陷盆地,主要发育了早期的湖泊相沉积、中期的海湾相沉积和晚期开阔海相沉积,形成了本区生储盖的三层结构。湖泊相沉积包括文昌组油源岩和恩平组气源岩,构成了本区石油体系的源岩要素。晚渐新世的张扭构造和中中新世末的右旋剪切构造是主要的含油气局部构造。幼陷内存在着文昌组-珠海组、珠江组油体系和恩平组-珠海组气体系,前者分布于文昌B凹陷,后者则位于文昌A凹陷,二者的生、排、运聚的高峰均为中中新世之后。文昌A凹陷是找气的有利地区,文昌B凹陷是找油的有利地区,其过渡区为油气的复合带。经过进一步的勘探,本区将成为重要的油气生产区。
The Zhuansan Depression is a faulted basin developed in the Tertiary. It mainly developed early lacustrine facies sedimentation, mid-term marine facies sedimentation and late open marine sediments, forming a three-layer structure of reservoir and reservoir cover in this area. The lacustrine deposits include Wenchang Formation source rock and Enping Formation gas source rock, which constitute the source rocks of the petroleum system in this area. The Late Oligocene Tensile Tectonics and the Late Mid-Miocene dextral shear structures are the major petroleum-bearing local tectonics. In the depression, Wenchang Formation-Zhuhai Formation, Zhujiang Formation oil system and Enping Formation-Zhuhai Formation gas system exist. The former is located in Wenchang B depression and the latter is located in Wenchang A depression. Peaks are after the Miocene. The Wenchang A depression is a favorable area for gas discovery. The Wenchang B depression is a favorable area for oil discovery, and the transition zone is a compound zone of oil and gas. After further exploration, the area will become an important oil and gas production area.
