造型材料发气性是铸件生产过程中重要的检测项目之一。当高温金属液浇入铸型时,铸型受到热作用后,使铸型中的水分及其它附加物产生大量气体,这些气体不仅决定铸件是否会产生缺陷,而且也决定了铸件的表面质量。目前国内许多单位仍采用比较简易的发气性测定装置。测试时操作较麻烦,必须2~3人操作,操作者要有较高的测试技术水平,测试精度也较差。清华大学与邯郸市自动化仪表厂共同研制成功一种新的造型材料发气性测定仪。该测定仪可以测定各种型砂、芯砂、涂料及其它造型
