利用双正交小波特性和小波塔式分解数据的多分辨特性、分形的IFS编码高效特性 ,提出了一种基于小波分解和分形编码压缩图象数据的方法。该方法先用一个小波将图象进行小波变换 (分解 ) ;在频域上 ,对不同频域层用不同的分块方法和比特率分配方法进行分形编码。根据实际需要和视觉特性来控制压缩比。重构时先在频域进行分形重构解 ,然后再用另外一个正交小波重建原图象。
Based on the characteristics of biorthogonal wavelet and multiresolution of wavelet decomposition data and the high efficiency of fractal IFS coding, a method of compressing image data based on wavelet decomposition and fractal coding is proposed. In this method, the image is first wavelet transformed (decomposed) by using a wavelet; in the frequency domain, the fractal coding is performed on different frequency-domain layers by different blocking methods and bit-rate allocation methods. According to the actual needs and visual characteristics to control the compression ratio. Reconstruction first in the frequency domain fractal reconstruction solution, and then use another orthogonal wavelet reconstruction of the original image.
