Measuring pressures up to 15kbar, the most accurate manometer is a net weight tester. In such a high pressure range, these gauges can only be in direct contact with the liquid pressure medium. The net weight tester should be used in conjunction with the differential pressure sensor (DPT) when measuring the gas medium pressure. However, only pressure differential pressure sensors up to 3kbar are available on the market. Our experiment required a differential pressure sensor (DPT) of 10kbar. Another reason to develop a 10kbar differential pressure sensor is the usual measurement of manganese nickel at a pressure of 15kbar
