The latest generation of the F-4794 third-generation 18mm microchannel plate sheet-like image enhancement tube by AT & T Electronics Optics, Inc., is for use with the Illumination Night Vision. High efficiency gallium arsenide photocathode made in the 7056 glass input window. The photocathode is sensitive to glimmer and infrared light from 580 to 920 nm. Photocathode electronic image near the focus on the microchannel plate, the amplification of the distortion is small. The output of the microchannel plate is focused near the P-20 green screen, which is made on the fiber optic output window. F-4791-like enhancement tube comes with integral high-voltage power supply, with automatic brightness controller, get a uniform output image, anti-glare device to protect the photocathode.
