作者采用白细胞介素2(Interleukin 2,IL-2)依赖细胞株(Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte line,CTLL)~3H-TdR 掺入法,分别检测了正常的和鼠麻风杆菌(Mycobacterium lepraemurium,MLM)感染的BALB/c 小鼠脾细胞产生IL-2的能力及IL-2活性,以探讨麻风病的免疫抑制机理。结果表明:对 IL-2绝对依赖的 CTLL 细胞的增殖反应与加入 IL-2的含量呈正相关(r=0.9862);经MLM感染的小鼠的IL-2 活性明显降低,与正常小鼠比较,二者有显著性差异(P<0.001)。提示 IL-2活性降低可能与MLM 感染小鼠的免疫抑制现象有关。
