辽宁省苹果栽培始于1902年。距今已有87年的历史,目前全省总面积已发展到336万亩,年产苹果80多万吨,在此基础上今后发展苹果的方向是什么呢?这是生产者密切关注的一个问题,笔者根据当前世界生产发展的动向、趋势和结合我省的实际情况,提出今后发展苹果的方向:一是品种优良化;二是砧木矮化;三是无毒化。把这三者实行一体化栽培,对实现苹果生产现代化,具有重要意义。
