在全国农业学大寨会议精神的鼓舞下,长江水质调查协作组第五次会议于一九七五年十一月三日至十日在上海召开。出席会议的有长江流域规划办公室及其所属各水文总站,中国医学科学院环境卫生监测站,部分省、市的环境保护办公室,四川、湖北、湖南、江西、安徽、江苏、上海等六省一市和长江沿岸二十个江段的卫生防疫部门以及有关协作单位的代表共一百人。水电部环境保护办公室负责人陈东明同志和国务院环境保护领导小组办公室、卫生部有关同志也参加了会议。在上海市卫生局党委的领导下,经过与会代表的共同努力,会议取得了预期的效果。
Encouraged by the spirit of the conference on agriculture in China, the fifth meeting of the Yangtze River Water Quality Survey Collaborative Group was held in Shanghai from November 3 to November 10, 1975. The meeting was attended by the Planning Office of the Yangtze River Basin and its hydrological stations, the Environmental Health Monitoring Station of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the environmental protection offices of some provinces and municipalities, the six provinces and municipalities of Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu and Shanghai And a total of 100 representatives from the health and quarantine departments of the 20 sections along the Yangtze River and relevant cooperation units. Comrade Chen Dongming, head of the Environmental Protection Office of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, and the office of the Leading Group for Environmental Protection under the State Council, as well as the relevant comrades of the Ministry of Health, also attended the meeting. Under the leadership of the Party Committee of Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau and with the joint efforts of participating delegates, the meeting achieved the expected results.
