West Vulcan’s VULAFLEX couplings have large radial, axial and angular displacements and are comparable in performance to universal joint shafts. However, the axial dimension is much smaller than the universal joint axis. In order to achieve the highest possible economy through the use of such couplings, further understanding of the way in which such drives work is required. Now the working principle of the coupling as follows (Figure 1). It consists of a drive frame, a drive frame, three intermediate rings and six links formed. Drive frame and drive frame was a triangular star. There is a bearing between the ring 3 and the ring 4, and there is also a bearing between the ring 4 and the ring 5, so the three rings can rotate relative to each other.
