(1)蛋白粉、蛋白-碳水化合物“增体重剂”、肌酸以及各种各样的“雄性激素类”产品广泛流行于运动员和希望通过使用这些补充品增加肌肉的人群中。(2)缺少科学依据证明这些“肌肉组建”补充品中的任何一种具有值得注意的增加肌肉的作用超出进行良好的阻力训练和全面的合理营养。然而,许多运动员尚不能遵守良好训练和合理营养最基本的原则。(3)应当教导运动员,特别是青少年运动员要寄希望于通过多年的刻苦训练和良好营养逐渐提高运动成绩;补剂不会“迅速解决”运动成绩问题。对于提高运动成绩,补充品不是灵丹妙药。
(1) Protein powders, protein-carbohydrates, “body weight boosters”, creatine, and a wide variety of “androgens” products are popular among athletes and those who want to increase muscle mass by using these supplements. (2) The lack of scientific evidence that any of these “muscle-building” supplements has notable increases in muscle activity beyond well-trained resistance and well-balanced nutrition. However, many athletes still can not abide by the most basic principles of good training and reasonable nutrition. (3) Athletes, especially young athletes, should be taught that they hope their sports scores will be gradually improved through years of hard work and good nutrition; supplements will not “promptly resolve” sports performance problems. Supplements are not a panacea for improving athletic performance.
