《美好的植物世界》于1993年由中国甘肃省教育科学研究所和日本广岛大学学校教育学部、菲律宾国家教育部初等教育处联合编制。同年在甘肃省榆中县部分小学进行教材实验,对教材进行了更完善的修改。目前在甘肃省境内部分地区扩散实验。该教材与国内同类教材相比,具有明显的特征,很有借鉴价值。一、意义深远1.符合时代和可持续发展的目标新世纪公民应具备怎样的素质,适应社会的发展,才能有利于社会的发展,已成为当今世界关注的问题——教育与可持续发展。亚太地区广大农村每年有几千万儿童因贫困和没有适合的教材而失学,使他们丧失了接受新世纪公民素质教育的机会,造成这一地区在可持续发展方面的不足。联合国教科文组织亚太地区办事处针对这一
The “Beautiful Plant World” was jointly prepared by the Gansu Provincial Institute of Education and Science and the School Education Division of Hiroshima University in Japan in 1993 and the Department of Primary Education of the Ministry of Education of the Philippines.
