随着经济全球化的深入,国际间的交流与合作不断扩大,社会对高层次、高技能人才的需求也日益增加,英语运用能力在人才的素质中也显得越来越重要。因此,必须从时代和国际竞争需要的高度来认识当前职业学校英语教学所面临的新机遇和挑战,努力提高学生的英语教学水平。文章从传统英语教学与职教英语教学比较入手,分析了目前职业学校英语教学中存在的问题,并探讨适合我国国情的职校英语教学模式。
With the deepening of economic globalization, the exchanges and cooperation in the world have been constantly expanding. The demand for high-level and highly-skilled personnel in the society has also been on the increase. The ability to use English has also become increasingly important in the quality of qualified personnel. Therefore, it is necessary to recognize the new opportunities and challenges facing English teaching in current vocational schools from the perspective of the times and the need of international competition, and strive to improve students’ English teaching level. Beginning with the comparison between traditional English teaching and vocational education English teaching, the article analyzes the existing problems in English teaching in vocational schools and discusses the English teaching mode suitable for our country.
