通过扩展基因密码子,实现了具有金属结合能力的非天然氨基酸8-羟基喹啉丙氨酸(HqAla)(Cu2+ KD=0.1 fM)在活细胞中的编码.在sfGFP,sfYFP,PsmOrange及eqFP650荧光蛋白的发色团中心编码HqAla,首次发现以上荧光蛋白的最大发射波长均红移30nm左右.且eqFP650-67-HQAla蛋白的最大发射波长红移至680 nm,是迄今为止报道的类绿色荧光蛋白中远红外区的最大发射波长.
