The apatite lattice contains elements such as halogens, rare earths (REE) and effective isotope tracing systems (Sr and O isotopes) to provide an effective means of studying the geological processes. In the hydrothermal deposit system, some studies have shown that apatite is prone to hydrothermal metasomatism, and relatively high degree of research has been made in the iron oxide-apatite (domestically called quarry iron ore) deposit (Harlov et al. al., 2002b; Torab and Lehmann, 2007).
