　　Segmented gold-poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-gold (Au/PEDOT/Au) free standing-nanowires were prepared by using nanoporous anodic alumina oxide (A12O3) template through electrochemical polymerization method.Transmission electron microscopy showed the formation of the Au/PEDOT/Au nanowires with ~300 nm diameter and a few micrometers length.
