Since the diffraction patterns of partial coherence can be regarded as a purely coherent one composed by a stronger zero-order beam and weaker diffracted beams relative to the real beams, reasonably satisfying reconstruction can be obtained from them with coherent diffractive imaging (CDI) algorithm in some cases, and the reconstructed image is always weaker than the real object. On the other hand, since the bright field data and the dark field data in the diffractions can determine two different reconstructions in term of the diffraction strength, the noise/distortion is always involved in the reconstructed images. For weak object, the noise/distortion in the reconstruction can be mostly reduced by forcing the dark field diffraction to be zero in the reconstruction processing to avoid the in-coincidence in the diffraction strength.
