Pyrolysis characteristic of ficus lacor leaves with moisture content of 70wt.%was investigated in a TGA setup.The effects of different operating parameters(temperature,and CaO/biomass mass ratio)on pyrolysis of biomass were checked out in a fixed-bed reactor system with CaO and NiO as catalysts.With addition of CaO,there showed two additional decreases in weight and the weight loss in the first stage(40~220oC)was decreased almost by 12wt.%.Hydrogen concentration increased by 9vol.%,which could be caused by enhanced water gas shift reaction from carbonation of CaO.After reduced in H2,NiO got higher pyrolysis activity than that of regular one,and got the highest CO concentration(39vol.%).With increasing pyrolysis temperature from 550 to 800oC,hydrogen yield increased rapidly.The highest hydrogen content of 42vol.%was achieved at 30wt.%of CaO/biomass mass ratio.Higher moisture content benefited to hydrogen yield.
