　　Several physical and optical properties of Ho3+doped Na2O-ZrO2-SiO2 glasses have been prepared by melt quenching technique.The XRD spectra of the glass samples reveal that these glasses have amorphous nature.From Optical absorption and photoluminescence spectra have been recorded at room temperature.
