Objectives: To verify if Chinese in different ages are suitable for zygomatic implantation and observe age-related changes on linear and angular anatomic bases of maxilla and zygoma.Methods: All of the specimens were selected from the maxillofacial CBCT scan images taken in Stomatological Hospital of Jiangsu Province between June 2010 and June 2012.Edentulous group contained 40 subjects with the age between 62 and 65.A total of 120 dentate cases were divided into 3 groups, defined as occlusion established group (n=40,12-15 years old), adult group (n=40, 37-40 years old) and elderly group (n=40, 62-65 years old).With 3-dimensional (3D)images generated by SimPlant, linear and angular measurements were obtained by simulating zygomatic implantation.
