One novel environment-friendly bactericide, tetrakis hydroxymethyl phosphonium sulfate(THPS) is synthes ized from yellow phosphorus, and the corrosion behaviors of metallic pipeline and the antibacterial activity of the target product are Systematically studied.By four test tubes method,it shows that the optimal bactericidal concentration of TH PS is 60mg/L in API R-3g sulfate-reducing bacteria medium,while its minimum bactericidal concentration is 100mg/L f or bacteria in Biofilm.The results of electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy(EIS) ang polarization curve indicate that THPS can inhibit the corrosion of carbon steel and has the ability to strip biofilms, while it has directly influence on the permeability of biological membrane.
