Objective: To investigate the effects of posture and function with Grinding anterior and posterior of the vertebral endplate in artificial disc replacement.Methods: Between Jan 2008 and April 2013, 162 patients who were treated total cervical disc replacement (ADR) were included.The effects were observed after decompression and grind.3 months post-op X-ray.Of them, 51 were male and 61 were female, aged 29-58 years (mean, 45.6 years);23 were diagnosed as having cervical spondylotic myelopathy, 54 having radiculopathy, and 35 having myelopathy and radiculopathy.The disease duration was 3-43 months (mean, 14 months).ACDR was performed at C2/3 in 2 cases, at C3/4 in 17 cases, at C4/5 in 21 cases, at C5/6 in 53 cases, and at C6/7 in 16 cases.
