Stripe rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis f.sp.tritici (PST), is a destructive disease of wheat (Triticum aestivum) worldwide. The temperature-induced seedling plant resistance to stripe rust resistance in wheat is durable. To gain a better understanding of the mechanism underling this interesting resistance, RNA sequencing approach was used to identify transcripts associated with temperature-mediated seedling plant resistance, we selected two kinds wheat leaf samples treated at high (20 ± 1) ℃ and at normal temperature (15 ± 1) ℃ for 24 hours in latent stage to represent an incompatible and compatible interaction with PST.
