Study of Branched TiO2 for DSSC Application Recently,anodic TiO2 nanotubes have been intensively developed due to its one dimensional structure that improves electron transport properties and lowers the probability of recombination.In order to increase the performance of Dye Sensitized Solar Cell(DSSC),morphology modification of the nanotubes were introduced.2-branched nanotubes were successfully created by reducing the voltage by a factor of √2 while anodizing; this was performed in electrolytes with high water content which made it possible for the nanotubes to reduce the barrier layer thickness as the voltage was reduced.
