Textile industry is a mainstay industry in national economy, while textile and apparel are received more attention by people.Chemicals that used in production, structure for decoration, environmental factors and recognition and actions of users, will be some reasons that cause risks in textiles.To prevent and reduce harm to people, some safety standards for textile were drafted in the end of the 1990s to limit harmful materials in apparel, and some standards regulated baby textile products.China developed the inspection of harmful substances in textile earlier and is making efforts at present to set standards that comply to international level and focus on safety more.
