With the advance of technology,education administrators around the world have introduced initiatives to incorporate information technology (IT) to equip students with essential and competitive skills for the information age.As a result English teachers are coming under increasing pressure to utilize IT in their teaching.This presentation reviews the factors which affect the incorporation of technological innovation in language teaching and argues that the decisive factor for successful change lies with the teachers who implement changes in the classroom.
