Zanthoxylum bungeanum leaves(ZBL)have high contents of polyphenols and flavonoids with a variety of bioactivities,which has great value of development and utilization.In this paper,the quality of 13 varieties of ZBL collected from a common garden were evaluated based on phenolic compositions,bioactivity and reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC)fingerprint coupled with chemometrics analysis.As results,You Huajiao(S13)exhibited the highest contents of phenolic compounds and the strongest bioactivity,followed by Hancheng Dangcun stingless(S1).
