Excavation engineering is one of the most active factors inducing loess geo-hazards.Based on the field investigation in the Loess Plateau of Northern Shaanxi Province, China, the deformation of evolution of loess slopes under excavation activities were researched by in-situ micro-penetration tests and laboratory tests at 23 different sites.
