Here we present a fast response ethanol gas sensor based on ordered mesoporous hematite nanoparticles, which are prepared via the nanocasting route by using ordered mesoporous silica KIT-6 as a hard template.XRD, SEM, and TEM results reveal that the hematite products replicated from KIT-6 possess highly ordered mesostructure and a average size of 100~200 nm.
