Objective: To establish the immortalized oral mucosal epithelial (OME) cell line by transfection with human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT).Methods: Oral mucosal epithelial cells were infected with retrovial vector encoding hTERT.Infected cells were selected with G418 and checked by immunocytochemistry (ICC), in vitro proliferation, the ability of tumorigenesis, RT-PCR and Western blot detect the expression ofhTERT.
