Polymeric micelles as drug carriers play a vital role in the treatment of a broad spectrum of malignancies.Recently,reactive oxygen species (ROS)-responsive drug delivery systems have attracted a great deal of attention,which is mostly due to the fact that cancer cells can generate a lot of intracellular ROS,including H2O2,superoxide (Of) and hydroxyl radical,in comparison with normal cells[1].However,the application of traditional ROS-responsive nanoparticles is limited due to their burst drug release in the blood circulation and slow release in the tumor tissue[2].
