After the reformation of Chinese Split Share structure, whether the institutional investors who have always kept the majority shares in the stock market could become a stabilizer for the market and a good supervisor for the listed companies, as in the mature market (such as the United States)? In this paper, we select all the holdings of the institutional investors in the market in 2007 for the study and we find that institutional investors preferred companies with higher financial achievement.
