The oxidation behavior of ferritic-martensitic(F-M)alloys in the water coolant of ITER was studied in order to assessment of the activated corrosion products under ITER working conditions.A series of exposure tests in the water coolant of ITER was performed with four alloys: CLAM,CNS,SCRAM,and T91.The effect of time was evaluated at 150℃ for 1500 h and the dissolved oxygen concentration was controlled at <10ppb(deaerated condition). The oxidation behavior was determined from weight loss measurements along with oxide structure analysis. The results indicated that the time dependence of the oxidation rate followed an exponential law with time exponents~0.2-0.6.The oxide formed on the alloy surface consisted of porous magnetite Fe3O4 and Fe2O3.
