The 11 Chinese and 10 Japanese silkworm varieties were feed with NPV,and the disease incidence was investigated.The result showed that the highest disease incidence in Chinese silkworm varieties was 27,the average incidence was 45.56%,and of which the lowest was E-chun,the average incidence was 34.86%.The highest disease incidence in Japanese silkworm varieties was 812,the average incidence was 48.84%,and of which the lowest was 9902,the average incidence was 32.62%.SPSS analysis indicated that there was no significant difference between the Chinese silkworm varieties,and there were significant differences between the Japanese silkworm varieties.9902 had the strong resistance to NPV,and 812 had low resistance to NPV.
