To verify the performance of the passive aeration (semi-aerobic) landfilling method in tropical climate condition,the test cells had been constructed in Thailand including conventional (anaerobic) and semi-aerobic cells.About 4,000 tons of municipal solid waste was placed at each cell.The CH4 and CO2 emission measurements were conducted.
