Future programs in space require a comprehensive study of free-floating space manipulator for applications such as construction and repair of the space station, a variety of studies[1,2] have been conducted on free-floating space robot system.Whether for repairing the space station or removing the space debris from orbit, a capturing operation should be performed.Though a complete capturing operation includes the process from the trajectory planning to the post-impact control, etc, and the nature of the problems occurring in the different phases can be completely different, most of the researchers tend to separate the operation into approach, impact and post-impact motion.
