As a nation with vast territory,the elderly facility in China is supposed to have great regional diversities which could deeply differs its service contents as well as space arrangement.However,the current architectural researches still lack an essential description of the regional differences of the facilities,which is the basis for making further designing strategies.This study intends to inspect the regional diversity from the perspective of geographic partition,economic status and population aging degree.The survey is carried out by questionnaires to top-level facilities all over the country.As a result,the 4-year survey totally collected general information and space composition of 161 facilities in 29 provinces.The analysis result suggested that geographic partition has influences on the service content as well as bedroom types of the facilities.Moreover,the financial status of the region has a wider impact on the scale,service,as well as public space types of the facilities.On the other hand,the impact of regional aging degree on the public space composition indicates the differences in nursing degree of the residents.The result is expected to serve as a foundation data for further researches on facilities in a specific district.
