Maintenance of existing steel structures is of great importance in Japan due to the rapid increasing number of aged structures (Lin et al.,2013).A strengthening method for old steel railway bridges by integrating the new structural members has been adopted in engineering practice in this context.In this paper,rubber-latex mortar,GFRP plates and rapid hardening concrete were integrated with an old steel railway bridge to increase its rigidity and reduce the stress level of the old steel bridge.A railway bridge which has been used for around 100 years was strengthened and tested in this study.The static loading tests on the aged bridge before and after strengthening were performed to confirm the effects of the present strengthening method (Figure 1).Based on the experimental observations,two FE models were built for simulating the strengthened railway bridge (Figure 2).Experimental results of the steel bridge before and after composition,including load-deformation response,strain distribution at salient sections along the span,and strain distribution on the GFRP plates as well as the concrete were given and compared with the numerical results.

模态分析在轻型车开发过程中应用越来越广泛,是轻型车正向设计的一种重要手段.在对发动机激励深入了解的基础上,运用模态分析法,将轻型车转向柱总成模态规划在发动机怠速与常用转速点火激励频率之间,在实车状态下对转向柱总成进行模态、振动试验,试验结果证实了模态规划的合理性.
