Biofuel oil has drawn much attention in recent years due to the depletion of fossil fuel and environmental benefits Biofuel was prepared using raw Swida wilsoniana oils as feedstock and p-toluene sulfonic acid as a catalyst. The chemical properties of produced bidieselwere tested by GC-MS chromatogram. The influence of reaction temperature, molar ratio of methanol to oil and reaction time on biodiesel yield was conducted using a single factor method.Response surface methodology was used to further optimize the process conditions, and the optimal values of the above three factors were 81.0 °C for reaction temperature,8.9:1 for molar ratio of methanol to oil,2.36 h for reaction time. The predicted yiled was 98.8%at the optimal conditions.
