Scheduling is an active field in operations research and theoretical computer science.It has been widely studied and many variants appeared since 1950s.Though huge mounts of models of scheduling are developed,a most common aspect is that all jobs in a scheduling problem should be assigned or otherwise a penalty should be afforded.
