  Background: Gastric cancer(GC)is the fourth most common malignant disease worldwide and the second most common cause of death from cancer.Most patients are initially diagnosed with unresectable,locally advanced GC,and lose the opportunity for radical surgical resection Radiochemotherapy is a good option for patients with advanced gastric cancer.A retrospective analysis was performed to evaluate the efficacy of radiotherapy for patients with unresectable or recurrent locally advanced gastric carcinoma.
