Hydrophobic therapeutic agents are frequently suffered from low water solubility and the presence of solubilizing agents such as organic solvents may cause severe side effects. We introduce a novel kind of drug delivery system in this presentation.Precursors of hydrophobic therapeutic agents will undergo a self-hydrolysis process to release the original drug molecules, leading to self-assembly and molecular hydrogelations.
