红格地区位于攀枝花-西昌成矿带,属峨眉山大火成岩省的一部分,是我国铁、钒、钛等金属矿产资源的重要生产基地,区内“攀枝花式”钒钛磁铁矿床与峨眉山地幔柱岩浆活动密切相关。区内铁矿床的形成与层状基性-超基性侵入岩体关系密切,矿体主要赋存在含矿层状岩体下部超基性岩带部分。含矿岩体的展布严格受到岩体西部南北向的昔格达断裂构造带的控制,大体呈南北
The Hongge area is located in the Panzhihua-Xichang metallogenic belt and belongs to the Emeishan large igneous province. It is also an important production base of China’s iron, vanadium and titanium metal resources. The “Panzhihua-type” vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit and the Emeishan mantle Column magmatism is closely related. The formation of iron deposits in the area is closely related to the stratiform basic-ultrabasic intrusive rock mass. The ore body mainly exists in the ultrabasic strata of the lower part of ore-bearing strata. The distribution of ore-bearing rock mass is strictly controlled by the north-south Xigeda fault tectonic belt in the west of the rock mass,
