Temperature is one of the most important parameters that need to be controlled in photofermentationbiohydrogen production system.Since the high temperature and big temperature fluctuant have adverse impact on bioydrogen yield,the system numerical simulation based on the operating conditions and environmental factors is desirable.The mathematical and computational modeling for the determination of the heat transfer behavior in tubular photobioreactor was presented.The model combined theoretical concepts of thermodynamics and empirical correlations of hydrodynamic and heat transfer.Energy transport equation in the system contained with heat transfer empirical correlations for convection,conduction,radiation and the chemical reaction.
